Veloci (we pronounce it Velo-chi but have no idea how it’s supposed to be said) makes some ultra nice frames that no one has ever heard of in the US. Here’s the quick rundown: Veloci makes steel frames and mostly steel forks (with a few pesky carbon forks that we don’t carry), good hubs and headsets, racks, fenders, handlebars and a few other bits and bobs under either the name VLC (which we assume stands for VeLoCi but that’s just a guess) or Rollci (again, we pronounce it Roll-Chi). Things we like: affordable but well made frames. Good, but kinda oddball paint. Well thought out braze ons. Good tubing: butted 4130, which is the best most versatile steel out there.

The OG Steel is a road bike, maybe what one might call an endurance road bike. I think that just means it can clear 32mm tires. 25mm tires with fenders. It’s not a mud season bike! (Unless during mud-season you avoid the dirt roads like a cat avoids eye contact.)

Normal road geometry, this isn’t a gravel bike. It’s a simple, unique, lightweight, responsive road bike. Great for the occasional chill dirt road, bad tar, and buffed pavement. Stiff enough to keep up on club rides, if that’s your thing.

Cool details: 5 piece fork, IS42 headset (BMX standard, affordable, durable), funky graphics, front rack mounts for low riders or a Mark’s Rack, fender mounts, ED coating for rust prevention. Odd ball graphic game is on point.
