Fifth Season Ride and Race: March 25th, 2023
Analog’s Fifth Season Ride and Race is a feast of mud, slush and maple syrup. Poultney’s 432nd Maple Festival is happening, and what better way to experience it than trudging up snow covered dirt roads and hanging out in steaming sugar shacks. Watch sap boil down while you drip mud and gnosh on fried dough drizzled in maple madness. Secretly quaff bourbon out of a flask and wash it down with a shot of Vermont’s finest. The Fifth Season Ride and Race features two options: A ridiculous race and a climby but slow ride.
The Ride is sold out! But the race still has slots available. This is not a typical race. There is a mud foot race section, bonus points for syrup carrying capacity, sketchy hot dogs in boiled in maple sap. No one cares if you win, you will not be written up in Velo News or the Radavist for your exploits. If you have never raced before, this is a probably the best way to stick a cold toe in. It's for fun, and while there are prizes, the real prize is finishing and having a series of bonkers tales to tell your buds.
You can register for the race, camping (if that's your thing) and an ultra limited super special edition hat that no one wants on Bikereg. Here's the link.
