Sim Drops - Simworks Drop Bar End Plugs

Simworks bar plugs come in road (24) or mountain (22) sizes.  Road for droopy bars and swoopy Albatross like Rivendell Nitto bars with 20-22mm internal diameters. Mountain for other flatter, smaller bars with 15-17.5mm internal diameters.

Our recommendation, always, is to wrap your bars right to the edge of the bars’ end, and refrain from tucking the bar tape into the bar.  The tuck, which serves no purpose, has a tendency to explode the bar tape back out, cause it’s sort of under a spring like tension.  That causes you to lose your bar plug, sad day, and it looks bad, like the end of an over boiled hot dog.  Secure your tape to your bars with a drop of super glue gel, and cut the tape on a bias before you do that, so you are only gluing a thin sliver of tape to the bars.  If you do it right, it will not look like there is a weird bulge of tape where you start the bar wrap.
