Analog Spring and Summer Events 2025

Spring Dispatch for Two-Wheeled Enraddenment (and a bonus place to crash)

Winter is almost gone, spring is waking up, the dirt's got that smell, and if your bike hasn't been whispering sweet nothings to you about escape and escapades, well, maybe you need a new bike. Or maybe you just need a nudge and a donut. Consider this your nudge.

We've been busy here in Poultney, not just polishing shiny bits (though there's been some of that) but lining up ways for you to get your wheels dirty, your brain pan clear, and your campfire stories on lock.

THE ANALOG EVENTS & HAPPENINGS RUNDOWN:

  • The Slow Rollers Weekly Ride: De-Stravafication Protocol
Look, racing is fine. KOMs are a thing. But sometimes, you just want to ride. With other humans. At a pace where you can actually talk. That's the Slow Rollers. It’s not about speed, it's about the spin, the scenery, the shared silence, or the shared stories about boogers and broken chains. It's about remembering why you fell in love with biking back when Sbarros ruled the food court. Check the spring calendar; your inner child will thank you. New rides weekly thru October!
  • Dig into the details: Slow Rollers Poultney Summer Calendar
  • Gorey Hollows VII: The Hollow Revenge.  Gorey Hollows VII features 4 ride options for ‘25.  There's the classic brutal 90 mile ATB race, with the rocky class 4 roads and extended hike a bikes, the 50-75 mile Scramble (pick any two of the ATB race loops) and the Ramble (pick any 1 of the ATB race loops). We also have added in an ‘Amble’ ride, for folks who wanna get out and enjoy the changing seasons but don't want to walk up some terrible climb or do huge miles.  Finally, we're making the ‘Just hanging out’ option permanent.  If you or your friend / partner / etc wants to just come, drink some good coffee, eat a donut, and chow down on some dinner, this is the category for you.  More info on bikereg!
  • Saturday Shift at Analog:  Pour Over Coffee and handmade Cruller Donuts at the shop from 8-11am every Saturday.  Fresh donut flavors made with local ingredients weekly.  This past past week I had a Maple Lemonade donut, it was insane.

AND IN OTHER NEWS FROM THE MOTHERSHIP:

  • Slate Valley Trails: They're RIPE.
The word is out. The dirt is good. The trails woven through the Slate Valley are open and calling your name. Whether you're after flowy singletrack or technical rocky bits, the SVT trails have it all. Go get some gnar gnar.

  • Meadow Lane Campground: Your Poultney Pit Stop.
Need a spot to pitch your tent after a long day of type 2 fun? Or a home base for a weekend of Vermont adventuring? Our little sugar bush, the Meadow Lane Campground, is open for business. It's simple, it's quiet (mostly, nature makes its own noise), and it's pretty darn beautiful if a bit rough around the edges. The perfect spot to brew some coffee, stare at the fire, and plan your next ride.  Perfect for dirtbags, probably not the place to take your family for a glamping experience.
