Fifth Season Switchel Sack V2 (rose top / redwood bottom)

Introducing a new, better Switchel! We are so happy with our toggles, they have taken over for the snaps on this bag both to attach it into your basket and to close the top. The new bag is taller too, to better accommodate large laptops and extra large farmer's market hauls. Also this bag features an internal weather flap that can be deployed in case of bag weather or to just better hold in your bits. Improved, more informative pics coming soon.

Switchel is what Vermont farmers drink when they're feeling sapped.  Pronounced 'Switch - L" for those wondering.  Made from ginger, maple syrup, maybe a dash of cayenne and a glug of apple cider vinegar with a squeeze of lemon.  I have a feeling they skipped the ginger and pepper back in yonder times, so roll new school or OG as you see fit.  Oddly refreshing, like this lovely bag.  

The Switchel Sack isn't a touring bag, although you could I guess go on a say, a book store tour, or a farmers market tour with it.  It doesn't have a roll top closure.  It's a commuter bag, a town bag, a shoulder bag, a basket bag, a carry all your crap around sack that also has interior pockets for your giant phone, a lime green sharpie and your wallet.  There's a key loop in there too.  The exterior pocket was specifically designed so the top of your copy of Neuromancer sticks out, so people know you like sci-fi, but not shitty sci-fi.  

The two loops on the side of the bag secure the bag in a Wald 137 full or half (racer) basket.  That's the medium Wald, we have a bunch of flavors here.  

There are metal D rings in the same area, which allow you to fit a legit shoulder strap should you so choose.  

Two snaps at the top keep your baguettes in place.  If it's raining, simply fold the top of the bag over and tuck the straps, and boom, mostly waterproof.  

Unlike the Squall sacks, this bag has a 14oz canvas bottom.  That's much beefier and stiffer than the Squall sack, so this bag stands up, open, ready for you to toss stuff in.  Easy for loading your radish haul, if that's your thing.
