VLC Look Up Stem

Sweating on a Discord Peeper stem but can't find enough money in your roommate's  sock drawer aka Gorgoroth?  Lack the ability to cast a spell that will suddenly make that meme coin investment profitable?  Check out the VLC (bar/stem/seatpost brand of our friends at Veloci Cycles) Look Up Stem. It's shorter and taller than the stem your bike came with: 35mm long (that's short!) and 60mm from the bottom of the stem to the center of the bars.  That measurement is known as stack height.  Cold forged for strength and low weight.  You can ride this off road, but it's not an enduro stem.  XC or ATB that sorta thing.  

Great for drop bars but also works with any normal bar.  Anytime you want to being the bars in and up.  

31.8 bars or a 26mm or 25.4mm bar with a two piece shim.  We recommend aluminum or steel bars, not carbon.  

For steel or aluminum steerer tubes.  Carbon steerers need a 5mm spacer above the stem, and you can't out a spacer above this stem.

Comes with a longish star nut bolt.  

6nm for all bolts except star nut bolt.  Just snug that to get rid of headset play.

Here's how you wanna set the stem up.  You need 40-43mm of steerer tube.  Not 45mm, not 50mm.  Not 30mm.  Adjust to taste with headset spacers.  Put the stem on, snug the star nut compression bolt so there's no headset play, then straighten the stem and snug the steerer tube bolts.  Then install the bars.
