The Shimano Downtube Cable Stops let you ditch those pesky downtube shifters and use anything else. Brifters, Bar cons, thumbies. You name it. Bolt these to the downtube shifter mount spot. We suggest pregreasing the works: the bolt, the mounting stud on the frame, and pull the barrel adjusters out and grease those. These things collect salt and dirt like crazy, so some preventative grease is handy down the road.
