Schmidt Standard 4.8mm female hub connector

Price
$0.25

Sold individually.  You need two to connect a headlight to a Schmidt hub.

This is the old school (and fine) way to connect a headlight to a Schmidt hub.  Advantages over the coaxial connectors are mainly that they're easy to install at home and they're cheap.  Disadvantage is that they're hard to get on and off the hub, and if you slip while pulling them off the hub, you can pull the wire out of the connector.

Good for bikes where the front wheel is rarely coming off.  Bad for bikes that will see a lot of tire changes, travel, that sort of thing.  Get the coaxial hub connector for that.

You can combine one of these with the Schmidt male 4.8mm connector if you need to make a headlight wire longer, or with the Schmidt piggyback connectors if you want to run a USB charger off your hub and don't want to mess with a Y junction box.  The box is better, but again, this is cheaper.
