If you want silver nipples, you want brass nipples. They’re strong, chrome plated and easy to build with. That’s all there is to it. Well made, easy to use, nice looking. We stock these in 14mm, but can special order them in 12mm. We recommend 14mm for most applications. Not because it’s stronger, but because it’s easy to scratch a polished rim with a shorter nipple when you are building the wheel.
We also sell these in black! The Pillar black coating is much less prone to corrosion than the Sapim or DT black brass nipples.
