The catch has always been getting a massive 1x12 gear spread without paying the digital tax. Enter this little ratchet. Pop it into your 11-speed mechanical SRAM shifters, and you’re instantly bumped up to 12-speed indexing. Pair it with a SRAM Exact Actuation derailleur (GX, XO, S200) and an Eagle-spaced cassette, and you've hit peak mechanical shifting, the best wide-range drivetrain on the market.

We spec this ratchet on all of our SRAM Hardtack and Moonshiner builds. They are remarkably reliable, and after plenty of miles, we can confidently say there are zero long-term negative impacts on the shifter internals. It just works, every time you push the lever.

Get this ratchet if you are modifying a SRAM Apex, Force or Rival rear mech to work with a mountain 12 speed cassette, ie SRAM NX eagle, GX eagle, XO eagle, E13 Helix Race 12 speed.  Get the full kit if you are using a Mountain rear mech.
