Cable housings are always flopping around like one of those inflatable 'air dancers' that serve as a handy warning sign to avoid any establishment that features one of them gyrating on their front lawn.  Get a handle on the situation.  Take a knife, and carefully cut the base of the... nevermind.  Avoid jail time and just get a handle on your floppy housing instead.  These rotating little clips get installed where your housing crosses another housing, and keep it in check.  Nicer looking and less slippy than a zip tie.  Works with 4 or 5mm cable housing.
