Vermont produces 53% of the syrup consumed in the United States, clocking in at over 3,000,000 gallons every year. This industry has a rich history in this part of the world, and if you visit Poultney in the springtime, you'll see the billowing steam rising from the evaporators in the sugar houses all over town. Analog Cycles was originally operated as an off-grid shop run out of an old sugar house, so it's part of our own shop history as well. We used to carry the Velo Vermont maple water bottles, as a nod to all the sugarers and our own original location, but alas, we can't get ahold of them anymore. Enter our friend Denis over at Studio Folk, who created this design for us, inspired by the vintage maple tins that were popular in the 80s and 90s. This iconic wintery scene features bikes instead of horses, but it's got the same OG color palette that makes those old tins so nostalgic. These are a great shop souvenir! Take one home to commemorate your Vermont riding time, or give 'em as gifts.
Bottles are made by Specialized, who makes the best squeezy water bottles out there. Very minimal if any plastic taste, no leak lid and valve, good water flow, all the stuff you want. Fit in standard bottle cages.
