Carbon can not be recycled, and only a few carbon items can be repaired for a reasonable price. We say: save hundreds of dollars, and stick with aluminum rims. Contemporary aluminum rims are strong, light and stiff but cost a fraction of what a carbon rim costs. Plus, at the end of their life they can be fully recycled!
I'm putting Rollcii Boost hubs in the running as some of the nicest looking Boost hubs available. The finish is close to that of White Industries, the engagement is robust and fast, and I just really like their lines. Steel rear axle for durability, high quality sealed bearings, its really all of the stuff you want for rough riding in bad conditions.
The Rollcii MTA30 rims are basically Taiwanese Velocity Blunt 35's. I like them, they're about the same weight, same shape, but they have eyelets, which is a nice feature! Great for tires up to 3" wide and down to about 1.9".
Analog built wheels are built by Mark, who has been building wheels since the mid 1980's, and checked over by James who has been building wheels since 2000 or so.
Quick note on shipping. We will ship your wheels using bikeflights with full insurance. The shopify system will automatically bill you SOMETHING for the shipping. We will bill you for the difference, or refund you, after we build, box, and weigh the wheels. Wheels will be shipped in about 2 weeks, after they work through Mark's build queue.

Rollcii 6 bolt Boost six bolt hubs, 15mm x 110 front axle, 12mm x 148 rear axle. 160 grams for the front hub, 328 grams for the rear. That's pretty light!
Pillar Quad Butted Spokes and Brass Pillar Nipples. We tape the rims with Discord Tubeless Tape.
Rollcii MTA30 rims, 35mm external width, roughly 30mm inner width. 498 grams for 650b, 528 grams for 29". Tire range: 1.9" to 3" aka 50mm to 75mm.
