Once I wrote the perfect country song.  I am not a big country fan, but it just came out.  It was called Halfway to Texas.  I vaguely think about trying to implant the song into the subconscious of Faye Webster, in the hopes she will think she wrote it and then record it.  I’m still working on how to implant it, and if you have any ideas, let me know.  

Mark built this bike up with a ‘unique’ mix of cheap but surprisingly good Chinese parts and really expensive bits.  To wit:  Avid Ultimate Cantilever brakes, and a seatpost called “Pro” from Ali Baba.  A US made Discord stem and Sensah Brifters.  A saddle that cost less than 7 dollars and handbuilt Velocity rims laced with Sapim Laser spokes to Bitex road hubs.  It’s a very light, crisp feeling wheelset.  And I gotta say, the Sensah brifters feel GOOD.  Light action, comfortable hoods.  The shifting is precise.  The faux clutch works well.  

Think of the bike as either a weird cross bike, a fast commuter, a good mud season bike, or a mixed surface century ride.  Gravel and such is fine as well.  It’s an old school jack of all whatever.  Fits big, holler with your PBH to make sure you can clear the TT.  Can’t beat the price!  Oh and that wack saddle is actually quite comfortable.  The theme of the bike was ‘Rocket Pop’.
