G.O.A.T. Gloves

G.O.A.T. is internet lingo for Gettin’ Over Angry Theramins.  Or something.  Most cycling gloves are bad.  If you want good long fingered cycling gloves, get Mechanics gloves.  Most auto stores have them.  If you want good shoulder season gloves, get Kinco Frost Breakers for less than 20 bucks.  But for summer use, road and gravel riding, creemee eating, or dance clubbery, you want some classic crochet cycling gloves.  Channel the 1975 Giro.  Cotton crochet tops for the best / weirdest tan lines, sweat management, cool ‘ventilation holes’ or fast ‘aero holes’ depending on the spin, leather palms with zero padding on the flip side.  Most gloves these days have faux leather palms.  Faux leather is plastic, and when one can avoid plastic, that’s generally a win.

Thin gloves will protect your hands from rough bar tape, minor scrapes, and the fashion police will either love them or hate them, but either way, you’ll know who to ‘forget’ to invite to your holiday party.

These run pretty true to size.  The GOAT glove does not have ‘aerospace 4D modeled fitting protocols’.  These fit like old school gloves.  Snug enough, but not skin tight.

Washable (air dry).
