The Sinewave Reactor started life as a kid’s drawing of the Millennium Falcon, which I propose to rename the Millennial Falcon. Dave at Sinewave clearly saw this drawing on a fridge at a friend’s house and was struck by inspiration. 'Why not make a top cap that looked like a kids drawing of the Millennial Falcon? A top idea!'

Dave, being a brilliant electro wizard in the vein of Tessa, without the mustache and use of AC currents, decided to wire the top cap up to a generator hub, so he could charge his Palm Pilot with it.

Have you heard Ptah, the el Daoud? I have no attention span. Alice Coltrane is beyond amazing. Your life is a shell without her. Take the red pill. Go down the rabbit hole!

Back to the Sinewave Reactor. Nut shell: this is a USB charger made to charge a cache battery or device whilst you ride. It fits in your 1 ⅛ steel or aluminum steerer tube. Not for silly carbon steerer tubes.

You'll wanna use a 'roomy' star nut, if you have a choice at this point, so you can run the wires thru it more easily. You'll want to run the wires from the top down. Meaning through the steerer tube and down to the hub. The Reactor comes with a wooden bit that you use to whack the star nut til it's buried enough to install the Reactor. It’s easy, there’s instructions, or we can do it for you.

If you have an Schmidt SON hub you'll need to acquire the little crimpy bits to connect to your hub if you don't have any around. Holler at us and we can hook those up.

The Sinewave Reactor can be used with a headlight, like a Schmidt Edelux II. We can help with that, it’s a bit of a thing, but never you mind, it’s totally doable with a bit of Candice’s soldering skills, a male coaxial connector, and Y Junction box,.

Ok, last stuff: Charge a cache battery, not a phone. You can use your cache battery to then charge your phone, but if you go right to the phone, it will blink on and off on steep slow plodding endless grinding horrible muddy shale filled soul sapping climbs and that will actually drain your phone’s battery. Unless it’s a Rotary Phone. Those don’t use batteries.

Comes in fun colors like: Red, Blue, Orange, Gold, Green, Purple, woohoo!

Made in the US. Dave at Sinewave is a great engineer, and these are solidly made and designed. Top notch bits!
