SimWorks by Honjo Dove Stay Rear

Honjo, those lovely makers of artisan gutters for temples and such, make a bunch of handy hardware to let you mount your metal fenders to your bike.  The Dove Stay is a short bracket which will work to allow you to mount a metal fender to most brake bridges on the back of your bike.  If you are using road style caliper brakes, use this Dove Stay in conjunction with a Sheldon Fender Nut.  

Put the brass plate inside the fender.  I use a fine point sharpie pen to mark where I'll need to punch a hole in the fender, using the Dove Stay as a guide.  A sharp awl or nail can get thru aluminum fenders, but you'll need a good drill bit if you wanna get thru stainless fenders.  Put wax on the bolt threads before installing them with a tiny screw driver.
