ReadyMADE alloy 30.9 seatpost 0mm offset

Everyone who has read too many articles on this site knows how we feel about crappy seatposts, 0mm seatposts for most bikes, and carbon.  The ReadyMADE seatpost is 0mm, which we ONLY recommend for bikes with a seat tube angle between 70 and 71.5 degrees.  Our bikes all have 71 degree seat tube angles, so if you are building a Tanglefoot, this is a fine seatpost for you.

Off road rated so you know it's strong.  Decently lightweight.  Infinite micro adjustments with front and rear bolts.  

All seatposts are a bit finicky to set up, with the easiest being Nitto, and all others being a few degrees harder.  While the ReadyMADE post is not hard to set up, it does require marginally more thought than a seatpost where the top of the clamp is all one piece.  In a way, the two top clamps are easier, as they move independently of each other.  But some folks might find it fussy compared to say, a Ritchey post.  We'll post a video with a how to soon!  I promise, it's not actually hard.  If you have installed any seatpost except a Nitto or a Nitto clone, you can do this post.  Unlike 90% of all seatposts out there, this post has bolts arranged front to back, not side to side, or pivoting around a circle.  That's good, those other designs are bad.  They rely purely on friction between two aluminum surfaces and a very tight bolt or bolts.  This design works more like the bolt is a column, and in this case, it's a column with a high shear strength.  No slipping under load, you'd have to break a bolt for this post to cause your saddle to slip. 

Lighter than most 400mm seatposts due to the minimal, machined head.  No glue to come unbonded.  This style of seatpost has been around since the early 90's, and many top manufacturers, like Tune, still use this same style for it's blend of low weight and high strength.  Compatible with steel or Ti rails.  Dunno about carbon, but let's assume not.
